Agserve is a locally owned and operated company, serving the rural community for over six years. Together Doug and Tomo have expanded business over the years, previously located on South Street with six employees, the team has now grown with twelve employees on board, with a new location on Malcolm McDowell Ave, in Ashburton with a larger premise to work.


Doug (Director) and Matthew also known as Tomo who is operations manager have worked in the irrigation field for 40+ years together with years of knowledge. Cheryl, who is also a director, has an especially important role in the office, handling accounts and ensuring the team is under control. Between them, these three run a highly approachable team of 12 members.

Mason is our workshop supervisor. He is a qualified mig/tig welder with general engineering experience. He is currently undertaking his final year of his general engineering apprenticeship.

Ethan is experienced in rotary boom repair and servicing. He is also undertaking a general engineering apprenticeship, to further his qualifications.

Aaron is our workshop handyman, he is training on fabrication under Mason for workshop repairs and production.

Allain has recently joined the team, he is a qualified diesel mechanic, he has training on Grimme potato handling machinery and experience with diagnostics.

Phil who is full of engineering solutions, engineering knowledge, provides us with back up with his many years of experience.

Dana has recently joined the team, to support Cheryl with assisting of invoicing and accounts. She is our main front of house contact, meeting and greeting all customers/suppliers who come to Agserve.

Perry has recently joined the team too, he was previously working at V-Holf. Most of you would know Perry, he is a hard worker and is enjoying his change in career.

Bradley is our newest member of our team as our trainee, fresh out of school. He is keen to get stuck into some engineering.

Peter has recently joined the team too, he is a qualified fitter turner, from the Army as a defense force armoire. He will be assisting alongside Mason in the workshop with engineering repairs and maintenance.
